Rizzo Mattingly Bosworth Recognized for Sustainable Practices

Rizzo Mattingly Bosworth PC has been selected to Oregon Business magazine’s 2015 list of the 100 Best Green Workplaces in Oregon.

In addition to appearing in the forthcoming June 2015 issue of Oregon Business magazine, Rizzo Mattingly Bosworth will be honored at the 100 Best Green Workplaces in Oregon awards luncheon, to be held May 27 at The Nines Hotel in downtown Portland.

Oregon Business magazine determines which organizations to include in its annual list of the state’s 100 Best Green Workplaces through an anonymous employee survey and an independent assessment of employers’ sustainability practices. The survey was conducted in conjunction with the magazine’s 100 Best Companies to Work For and 100 Best Nonprofits to Work For projects. More than 400 companies and 17,000 employees participated in the survey.

“We are both thrilled and humbled to be included on this prestigious list,” said Matthew Masini, Executive Director at Rizzo Mattingly Bosworth. “Our firm has been dedicated to cultivating sustainable business practices since its founding. Yet, what makes this recognition even more meaningful is the fact that our employees provided the anonymous survey feedback that served as the decisive factor in our placement on the list.”

This is not the first time that Rizzo Mattingly Bosworth has been recognized for its efforts to engage in environmentally responsible business practices. The firm was named a Sustainability Partner by the Oregon State Bar in 2012, and was awarded Sustainability at Work’s gold certification in 2014.
