
Mike has successfully litigated hundreds of cases in both Oregon and Washington courts, and he has also briefed and argued many cases before the Oregon and Washington Courts of Appeals. Mike's practice centers on litigation of products liability, toxic torts, personal injury, and premises liability cases. He has represented numerous local and national companies, including military equipment manufacturers, paper mills, building products manufacturers and distributors, product testing services, and both general and subcontractors in the defense of numerous muli-million dollar products liability and personal injury claims. In addition, Mike has significant experience in employment, labor, and civil rights litigation.
Mike graduated from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College in 1995. After his admission to the Oregon State Bar, he practiced employment and labor law for two years with a prominent Portland law firm, handling both state and federal claims involving Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FLSA, ERISA, and labor relations. He has written and edited several CLE publications and taught a CLE course regarding motion practice. He was admitted to the Washington State Bar in 2003, where he has since developed a large practice.
